We specifically use mineral citrates for potassium, magnesium, and calcium because they are highly bioavailable and generally gentler on the digestive system than cheaper alternatives like oxides. Because Purely Electrolytes Hydration Formula is highly potent (containing 700mg of potassium and 150mg of Magnesium per serving) we recommend mixing it with at least 600ml of water.
